Why choose Forigo machines?

Customization

Each machine can be fit with different types of rollers and rear accessories to adapt to the type of soil, whether flat or ridged, and to the crop. Working depth can also be easily adjusted to achieve the desired result.

Performance

The reserve rotation of the rotors crumbles even the hardest clods, levels the soil, and aerates it without compacting it. The result is: a ready seedbed in a single pass, with uniform and consistent work across the entire working width.

Durability

Reinforced frame, oversized gearboxes, and protections on exposed components: everything is designed to withstand impacts, dust, humidity, and long working days, even under demanding conditions.

Support

A wide network of distributors and the Forigo technical team assist you before and after the purchase, offering fast support, timely spare parts, and with customised advices to every need.

The operating principle of these machines is based on reverse rotation of the rotors with blades capable of crumbling the largest clods and providing excellent surface levelling. Vertical-axis processing ensures optimal soil aeration while preserving its natural structure and composition. Different types of rollers or rear accessories adjust the working depth and perform multiple seedbed results, both on flat surfaces and ridges. All Forigo Power Harrows are designed to last over time and handle large workloads with low consumption.

Universal three-point linkage (Category II and III)

All Forigo Power Harrows are equipped with a universal three-point linkage, compatible with Category II and III tractors. This is a well-established standard in agricultural mechanization, chosen to ensure a stable, safe, and quick connection between tractor and implement.

This design choice aims to maximize compatibility with most tractors on the market, reduce hitching times, ensure efficient power transmission, and simplify fieldwork.

Floating system for soil adaptation

Forigo Power Harrows are also equipped with a floating system that allows the machine to adapt precisely and automatically to soil irregularities.

This means that, even on not perfectly level soils, the work remains uniform across the entire width, without leaving higher or lower areas.

In addition to improving the final result, this system reduces mechanical stress on both implement and tractor, limiting component wear and lowering maintenance costs over time.

What are Power Harrows and what are they used for?

Power Harrows are agricultural machines designed for soil preparation. They use a series of vertical-tines rotors that break up, level, and prepare the soil for seeding or transplanting. They are suitable for all soil types, after an initial tillage (e.g. ploughing).

Which tractors are compatible with Forigo Power Harrows?

The various models of Forigo Power Harrows are compatible with most agricultural tractors: each model is equipped with a three-point linkage of the corresponding category. It is also possible to choose the correct yoke type on the cardan shaft side towards the tractor.

Can the working depth be adjusted?

Yes. All Forigo models allow adjustment of the working depth, also through hydraulic controls. This enables the operator to adapt the machine to the specific agronomic requirements of the soil and crop.

What maintenance do Power Harrows require?

Routine maintenance includes: cleaning after use, checking gearbox lubrication, tightening checks on components, and replacing worn tines. Forigo designs its machines to simplify these operations, making them quick and intuitive.

What is the difference between a Power Harrow, a Rotary Tiller, and a Disc Harrow?

Each machine has a specific function. Power Harrows are ideal for refining and levelling the soil to create a perfect soil, even in the presence of clods. Rotary Tillers work the soil more intensively, also mixing in crop residues. Disc Harrows, on the other hand, are better suited for incorporating crop residues in dry or less compact soils.

How do Forigo Folding Power Harrows adapt to uneven soils?

Thanks to the integrated floating system, Forigo Folding Power Harrows automatically adapt to soil irregularities, ensuring an uniform work. This improves efficiency and guarantees more precise levelling.

What accessories or configurations are available?

Power Harrows can be equipped with different types of rollers and accessories, such as quick tine replacement system, Tungsten plates tines, track eradicators, and the rear hydraulic three-point linkage for combining a seeder. Each model can therefore be configured according to the farmer’s operational needs.

How can I choose the model best suited to my needs?

The ideal model depends on several factors: tractor power, soil type, size of the farm, and specific agronomic requirements. The Forigo team and its distributor network are available to provide personalized advice.
