Forigo for sport: Francesco Leonardi 1st at the circuit of Spirano

News _ 30 NOVEMBER _2017

Francesco Leonardi from Verona, who wears the shirt with the Forigo brand for the Luc Bovolone Sports Group, wins the first place on the podium of the 34th Circuit of Spirano for the newcomer category 1st year. The race, which was held on Sunday, March 26, was complicated by a slight rain that made the roadside sticky: one more reason to congratulate Francesco for the excellent result!

Forigo Roteritalia has several vocations as innovating, designing customized solutions and providing technological excellence to farmers. Outside the purely professional sphere, we do the same: we try to make our contribution to projects that we feel passionate about. One of these is to support cycling, an increasingly popular sport – even among young people – and capable of giving great satisfaction to both practitioners and those who follow it.

Talking about satisfactions, we want to celebrate here on our blog a victory for the sport, Verona and the Luc Bovolone Sports Group: the first place gained on Sunday 26th March by Francesco Leonardi at the Circuit of Spirano. The race opened the cycling season of the Bergamo province with the newcomer category (1st and 2nd year).

The race took place on a city circuit, in the streets of Spirano, 5 km long. The newcomers of the 1st year, like Francesco, ran it 6 times for a total of 30 km; the ones of 2nd year run it 8 times instead, for a total of 40 km.

Of the 72 young cyclists of the 1st year, only 41 arrived at the finish line. The slight rain that undermined the adherence of the wheels to the road surface decimated the participants. Francesco did not lost the spirit and ran his 30 km in 51′ and 30”, at an average speed of 34.95 km/h. He then won the highest position in the podium, followed by Davide Ferrari from U.S. Ausonia CSI Pescantina.

An exciting race that promises to expect great things from this young athlete. Again many compliments to Francesco and his team of G. S. Luc Bovolone.
