Cibus Tec has a long history. In fact, its origins can be found in an historical exhibition born in 1939: Tecnoconserve. Since its first edition, this exhibition has set itself an important goal: promoting the economic and technological development of the food industry and of the companies, supplying solutions for processing and packaging.

A lot of time has passed since then. Nowdays, Cibus Tec has built its own exhibition leadership in many sectors: the processing and packaging of vegetables, fruit, milk and dairy products. Year after year, Cibus Tec has aimed at constant renewal which has allowed a great growth of international importance of the fair, especially in the last decade. Turning point was the recent collaboration with Koelnmesse GmbH - one of the largest trade fair organizations in the world - which allowed Cibus Tec to be recognized as the only trade fair in Italy able to offer a huge variety of technologies and solutions for the food & beverage sector.

Cibus Tec 2019 will be an extraordinary opportunity for every player in the sector, thanks to 120,000 sqm of exhibition area and the presence of 35,000 food and beverage professionals from 108 countries around the world. The numbers speak clear: according to the statistics of the previous edition, Cibus Tec is an event that satisfies 95% of visitors and 92% of exhibitors. In the last edition, held in 2016, there were more than 1,000 exhibitors, with about 35,000 operators from 107 different countries.

Cibus Tec promotes a meeting of the latest technologies and the evolution of consumption trends, as a world-class showcase for innovative technologies. The main goal of this event is to represent a futuristic vision of the food industry, tending to a growing sustainability and providing consumers with safe and nutritious products.

In order to offer a complete overview of solutions, from ingredients to process technologies, from logistics to packaging, Cibus Tec 2019 will be organized in different exhibition sectors: fruit and vegetables, milk and dairy products - ice cream - desserts, meats and fish, bakery and grain based products, confectionery, ready meals, beverages, coffee, packaging, logistics, ingredients, food safety.

Forigo’s team, with its horticultural machines, will fit into this context of innovation and technology, thanks to effective and tailor-made solutions. At Cibus Tec, Forigo will attend from Tuesday 22 October to Friday 25 October 2019, in Viale delle Esposizioni 393 in Parma.
