The Bologna Exhhibition Centre is ready to host, from 9th to 13th November, the 2022 edition of EIMA, the International Exhibition dedicated to Machinery for Agriculture and Gardening which, since 1969, has welcomed thousands of visitors from all over the world.

EIMA 2022: the Italian experience goes global

Data speak for themselves: more than 1,300 exhibitors were present at EIMA 2021, 341 of them from abroad, while the total number of visitors consolidated at 270,700. EIMA International is therefore one of the events capable of catalyzing and aggregating the agricultural sector on a global scale: the 5 theme salons into which is divided also offer a complete and specific overview of the sector’s most urgent needs and demands.

• EIMA Green is the exhibition space dedicated to machinery and technologies for the care of green areas and gardening;
• EIMA Components is one of the most appreciated by the public, where machinery components such as spare parts, parts and accessories covering more than 350 items can be found;
• EIMA Energy is now the exhibition's benchmark for renewable energy sources such as biomass, where demonstration trials and seminars alternate;
• EIMA Idrotech is designed to give visibility to the entire sector dedicated to agricultural irrigation, by now increasingly the protagonist given the urgency of responses required by the worsening climate change;
• Lastly, EIMA Digital will host the application of the most advanced technologies to improve performance and work safety.

In addition to the thematic areas, there will also be three focus areas at EIMA 2022 dedicated to training, awareness and information on the needs and priorities of the sector. In particular:

• EIMA Campus is configured as a bridge between universities and the work’s world thanks to ten lectures about new trends and approaches in the sector;
• EIMA Desk is the area where visitors will be able to take advantage of consultancy and assistance services relating to tender notices and jobs opportunities, thanks also to the presence of exhibitors such as UNCAI (National Union of Contractors) INAIL and UNACMA (National Union of Agricultural Machinery Dealers)
• EIMA MiA is the section dedicated to multifunctionality that has been transformed from a themed exhibition into a focus area on hydrogeological instability and maintenance of green areas.

Once again, the exhibition area will be divided into 14 product sectors, including Tillage and soil preparation, seeding and fertilisation machinery.
