Two years have passed since the last traditional edition of Macfrut<\/strong>, a landmark event for all professionals in the fruit and vegetable sector<\/strong>. What has just passed was a complicated year for trade fairs<\/strong>: despite this, there were many opportunities that it was possible to seize, such as those given by the digital world<\/strong>. This is how Macfrut 2021<\/strong> presents itself today as an event with even greater potential: from 7 to 9 September<\/strong>, Rimini <\/strong>becomes the stage of the fruit and vegetable supply chain<\/strong>, with many new features. The Forigo team<\/strong> could not miss an important opportunity like this! Let’s see all the details on the event in this article.<\/p>\n

Macfrut 2021<\/strong> seems almost to symbolize the return to normality for what concerns the fruit and vegetable sector fairs: it is the first fruit and vegetable fair<\/strong> in an international context. Furthermore, this year Macfrut 2021 is also an occasion to celebrate another important anniversary: the International Year of Fruits and Vegetables declared by the FAO<\/strong>. Without forgetting, of course, the centrality of the same sector in which we operate: the fruit and vegetable sector is an essential sector for the agri-food sector in Italy<\/strong>, with a value of over 15 billion euros. A series of aspects that loads the event of great importance.<\/p>\n

But how will Macfrut 2021 be organized? In line with the tradition of a well-established event<\/strong>, the fair will be characterized by the representation of eleven exhibition sectors<\/strong>, the participation of exhibitors from many regions of Italy<\/strong> – including Sardinia, the Partner Region of the event – and by the presence of four dynamic areas<\/strong>: the fourth edition of the International Asparagus Days<\/em><\/strong>, Macfrut Field Solution<\/em><\/strong> for field tests, Acquacampus <\/em><\/strong>for the innovations in irrigation and the Greenhouse Technology Village<\/em><\/strong>, dedicated to protected crops.<\/p>\n

In addition, the Biosolutions International Event<\/em> will also take place at Macfrut 2021, dedicated to companies that produce bioprotection products, biostimulants and special nutrition<\/strong>, with a focus on innovation and sustainability. In addition, the International Congress<\/strong> aimed at bringing the Mediterranean fruit and vegetable supply chains to the world of biosolutions will also be held. Within the exhibition area there will be also a space dedicated to large-scale distribution, where targeted meetings with exhibitors will be organized.<\/p>\n

But that’s not all: thanks to the virtual experience of 2020, digital is not abandoned even in this edition. For the first time, Macfrut integrates the online world <\/strong>with the traditional fair, to give exhibitors the opportunity to have even a virtual stand<\/strong> and thus increase the chances of getting in touch with a greater number of visitors.<\/p>\n

The attention to sustainability and technological innovation<\/strong> that characterize Macfrut will be combined, in this edition, with the safety of all participants<\/strong>: to access the event it will be necessary to present your Green Pass or certify your state of health through a rapid tests, also available in the two entrances of the Rimini Expo Center.<\/p>\n
