Forigo’s autumn is enriched with a new appointment: in Clermont-Ferrand, France, the Sommet de l’Elevage<\/strong> event will take place from 5 to 8 October<\/strong>. This is the number one fair in Europe for the livestock sector. This year’s edition will have an even more varied program, to offer to all participants a complete overview of the current situation in the sector and on all the innovations that await us in the future. The Forigo team is ready to participate at the event: let’s find out all the details of this trade show together!<\/p>\n

The Sommet de l\u2019\u00c9levage<\/strong>, now an event of consolidated fame, represents the first European appointment for breeding professionals<\/strong>. Its name, which means precisely “top of the breeding<\/em>“, clearly indicates its relevance within the sector. The event is a real stage for French know-how<\/strong> in the field of animal production, but also a meeting point<\/strong> for all the players in the agricultural and agro-supply sector. This event has now become the world leader in the beef cattle sector<\/strong>, but it is also one of the major fairs dedicated to the dairy sector.<\/p>\n

The Sommet, over the years, has managed to increase its commercial offer<\/strong> more and more, managing today to be able to offer a complete overview of all the livestock and agricultural sectors. The topics covered during the event range from agricultural machinery to milking systems<\/strong>, passing through genetics, health and animal nutrition; even energy and innovation<\/strong> are not forgotten.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the presence of exhibitors and visitors from all over the world, the Sommet de l’\u00c9levage is now a space that encourages international business<\/strong>: just think that, in 2019, over 90 countries<\/strong> were represented by visitors and exhibitors.<\/p>\n

Given its great importance, it is not surprising that the French fair also has the media spotlight on it: in the previous edition, 160 journalists<\/strong> were hosted, with a massive presence in the print, radio-television and web press.<\/p>\n

If these data still do not fully convey the importance of the Sommet de l’\u00c9levage, these numbers \u2013 recorded in the 2019 edition \u2013 certainly can do so: 82,500 square meters of surface area<\/strong> dedicated to stands, with 180,000 m2<\/sup> of exhibition space<\/strong> in total, for a total of 1560 exhibitors<\/strong> from almost 40 countries and 96 thousand visitors<\/strong>. Furthermore, among the most represented sectors, we find those of agricultural machinery, services, equipment and supplies for livestock farming, the renewable energy sector and new technologies.<\/p>\n

It is also thanks to its great variety that the Sommet is able to give great satisfaction<\/strong> to those who participate: many people return year after year, both among exhibitors and visitors.<\/p>\n

Forigo<\/strong> could only be in the front row to participate in an event of this magnitude: the context of the Sommet de l’\u00c9levage fits perfectly with the Forigo philosophy<\/strong>, based on innovation<\/strong> but also on proximity to farmers and breeders who need efficient and functional solutions<\/strong> in response to your needs.
