Fruit Attraction 2018: tenth edition

Madrid is one of the stops on the Forigo team's autumn tour. From October 23rd to 25th, you will find us at Fruit Attraction 2018, the fair dedicated to the fruit and vegetable sector. Discover a first taste of this important event.

There is great expectation for Fruit Attraction 2018. The world trade fair for fruit and vegetables, in fact, will celebrate its tenth edition this year. For the occasion the event will be perfected in all its parts and there will be new areas.

The fair will be entirely based on the slogan "Where Fresh Produce & Innovation Meet". In fact, innovation will play a fundamental role during the event: it will address the importance of constant updating and technology in production and commercial processes.

The countries invited by the organization will be Canada and Saudi Arabia, two of the leading countries of imports of fruit and vegetables from the EU. The manufacturing companies present will have the opportunity to extend their commercial borders worldwide, interfacing with importers, exporters and wholesalers of these countries.

Since its inception, Fruit Attraction has shown a constantly growing trend. In 2017, there were 1.500 exhibitors, with almost 70.000 visitors in the fruit and vegetable sector. For the tenth edition, which will be attended by professionals from 120 countries, there are already as many participants.

As usual, the event will consist of stands oriented to the stipulation of strategic business agreements, round tables, guided tours, workshops and B2B sessions. Many will be the novelties of this edition.

The first big surprise of Fruit Attraction 2018 is represented by the change of dates, no more from Wednesday to Friday, but from Tuesday to Thursday. Furthermore, the opening hours of the halls will be extended up to 7 pm, to allow a greater number of visitors to participate.

The real news of the edition will be represented by the "Fresh produce digital network campaign" plan. This campaign will aim to attract new exhibitors by creating a more extensive and specific offer from Fruit Attraction. In addition, the "Flower & Garden Attraction" section, specializing in flowers and plants, will be added to the event's proposals.

The sectors dedicated to technological renewal programs for fruit and vegetable processing and services for trade will also be expanded.
