AgroExpo Uzbekistan 2018: Discover Agrotech Expo

A new appointment is in schedule for the team Forigo. This time the destination is Tashkent, Uzbekistan, for AgroExpo/AgroTech 2018, an important event of the agricultural and alimentary sector which will take place from the 30^th of May to the 2^nd of June. Here it is what you’re going to attend during this event.

AgroExpo/AgroTech represents one of the main fairs in Central Asia related to the most advanced technologies and equipment for the agricultural sector and for the food industry. The fair, in fact, offers expositions of agricultural machinery, exhibitions of new equipment for the processing, packaging and labelling of fruit and vegetables and testimonials of innovative treatments of milk, meat and other foods. Particular attention will be reserved even to the veterinary sector.

The main purpose of the event is to establish durable commercial relationships between foreign producers and the buyers in Uzbekistan in order to bring the most innovative technologies within the country. This goal has been achieved very often with success. From the 2006 to the 2017, in fact, more than 4.000 selling contracts have been signed.

That of 2018 will be the 13^th edition of AgriExpo/AgroTech Uzbekistan which registered a growing trend year by year. In 2017 the fair had set its highest record with almost 7.200 participants. The vast majority of them came from the twelve different regions of the Uzbekistan and from the nearby countries. 500 is the total number of companies from all over the world that in these 12 years have visited the fair.

In the Uzexpocentre a great number of different exhibitors will take part to the event and many conferences are in schedule for the visitors. The dimensions of the exhibition area are, in fact, very remarkable: Uzexpocentre consists of four wide pavilions arranged in an area of about 20.000 square meters, provided with vast space both inside and outside.
