Due to the health emergency caused by the "Coronavirus", the Administrative Board of Umbriafiere SpA has deemed it appropriate to postpone the 52nd edition of Agriumbria to 18-20 September 2020.

Agriumbria is one of the longest-lived events dedicated to the all-round agricultural sector. Now in its 52nd edition, in 2020 Agriumbria will be held from 18 to 20 September in Bastia Umbra, in the Umbriafiere pavilions. For Forigo, an appointment not to be missed: the programme for the 2020 edition is increasingly focused on the needs of entrepreneurs in a growing and evolving sector. New technologies, agricultural equipment, zootechincal exhibitions and meetings on current issues will be the basis of the event. Waiting for September, here is everything you need to know about Agriumbria 2020. agriumbria-2020

The desire to renew and many challenges to overcome: this is Agriumbria 2020

One of Agriumbria's strengths is its ability to renew itself year after year, searching for turning points and interpreting the new challenges that involve the sector: exhibitors and visitors who participate are thus put in a position to grow professionally and keep up to date with trends in the agricultural sector. The national exhibition dedicated to agriculture, zootechnics and nutrition will be attended by entrepreneurs, farmers, breeders and companies in the sector with their most interesting news. In 2019 the exhibition exceeded 450 exhibitors and reached almost 100 thousand visitors in 3 days: important numbers that this year should be replicated and exceeded according to the expectations of the organizers.

The 2020 edition main appointments

Now in its 52nd edition, Agriumbria has many interesting events this year. The Milktec exhibition, dedicated to technology for the dairy chain, will be more extensive than in previous years; during the fair, innovative equipment and machinery for milking and milk processing will be presented. As every year, the external rings will focus on zootechnical competitions dedicated to different cattle breeds: Chianina, Romagnola, Charolaise and Limousine will compete in national competitions organized in collaboration with the Italian Breeders Association.

As always, the event will be divided into three main macro sectors: one part will be dedicated to the entire agricultural chain, one to zootechnics with all Italian meat breeds and one to national and local food products.

Then there will be the specialized salons:

  • Bancotec, dedicated to machines and equipment for the processing and preservation of food products.
  • Oleatec, dedicated to machines for olive growing.
  • Enotec, dedicated to machinery and equipment for viticulture and grape processing.

At the same time there will be exhibitions, conferences, meetings and in-depth meetings with the aim of bringing together companies, trade associations and the scientific world. In addition, the activities of the Agriumbria Observatory will continue this year: during the fair, data on farms in Italy and consumer behaviour will be presented.

Agriumbria 2020 presents, as always, a rich and interesting program. The most important national companies in the agricultural sector will be present in a single exhibition event. The Forigo Team will be present to show the latest news of its tailor-made machines. We wait for you in Bastia Umbra, from 18 to 20 September. In the meantime, if you want to know more about the event, contact us and we will give you all the information you need.
